MULTIMAGIC
Multimagic is an American indie pop band and the stage name of songwriter and producer Coran Stetter. The band caught an early break when a demo of “Let Go” gained traction seemingly overnight garnering a devoted fanbase in their hometown of Cincinnati, with notable appearances at Bunbury Music Festival and SXSW.
Early in the band’s tenure, Stetter suffered from a misdiagnosis, which led to a prednisone induced manic episode. While in recovery, reconnecting with music was fundamental and Stetter penned what became the band’s debut LP Manic Daze, released at the height of the pandemic in 2020 via Soul Step Records, selling out the entirety of its first run on vinyl. The album garnished critical acclaim and reached the Top 10 on College radio charts. Multimagic’s sound has been described as dreampop, with no shortage of sonic textures interwoven with unforgettable sensible pop melodies reminiscent of Bleachers, Tame Impala, Future Islands, Alvvays and Grouplove.

"Multimagic has taken their own unique voice and paired it with homage to bands like Arcade Fire, The Cure, and took me back in the best way possible. Please, for the love of whoever you believe in, give this album a listen."
"Bristling with the muted joy and dark abandon of ‘80s Synth Pop and contemporary Indie Rock."
"It’s a strong return for Multimagic, who return to that attention- grabbing and atmospheric 80’s- inspired sound that is powerful and uplifting in spirit and sonically as well. “Sunshine” soars with a positive feeling that hits you like a warm embrace that you didn’t know you’ve been missing."
"Manic Daze felt like a breath of fresh air. Not only was I drawn to the atmospheric synths, thunderous bass, and earworm-worthy hooks, but the love, passion, and confidence brought it to the next level...defies genre and stands as a much-needed beacon of hope in these times of uncertainty."
